What is Elvaloy® KEE?

     DuPont™ Elvaloy® KEE is a solid, yet flexible terpolymer, and the basis of the world’s best thermoplastic roofing membranes. It helps keep them pliable and highly maintainable years after installation.

     All thermoplastic roofing membranes start out flexible and can be heat-welded.  Some thermoplastics are made flexible with volatile liquid plasticizers.  Over time, these plasticizers can migrate out, causing the membrane to shrink and become brittle.  This can cause tearing of the membrane and leave it much more difficult to heat weld for repairs or for new cut-ins for vents or equipment.

     DuPont™ Elvaloy® KEE, however, won’t migrate out-being a flexible solid, it remains in your roofing membrane, helping keep it pliable and weldable for life.
