INSTALLATION PROCESS 1.
Before Roof-over.
2.
Installation of pressure treated, rot resistant wood blocking around the complete edge of the home to insure long-term, secure performance.
3.
Next a layer of poly styrene is installed directly over the shingle (or metal) roof. This insulation layer helps save energy costs, reduces “roof rumble” and creates a quieter home.
4.
Over the insulation goes the tough durable single-ply roofing membrane.

5.

The system includes state-of-the-art accessories, such as one-piece vent boots to eliminate roof leaks in flashings (a common problem with other roof-over systems).
6.
For superior wind resistance, the membrane is secured everywhere it counts: at the roof’s perimeter with a termination bar; at the side lap seams and a long the ridge seam.
7.
The completed Traditions Classic is a lightweight, one-piece blanket of protection that makes your home more weather resistant, energy efficient and valuable. Plus, unlike asphalt shingles, Traditions Classic is resistant to fungus and mildew and can be power-washed to maintain its like new appearance.
